GRADING POLICY AND CLASSROOM PROCEDURES
The computer grade is based on three categories; PREPARATION, CLASSWORK, and ASSIGNMENT. You start each quarter with one hundred points in each of the categories. However if you fail to complete a task five points will be deducted. For example, if you come to class without a pen you will have five points deducted from PREPARATION. If you are talking during class five points will be deducted for CLASSWORK. If you do not complete your assignment, five points will be deducted from ASSIGNMENT. Once the points are deducted they are gone for good, you can not complete extra credit to get them back.
The procedures for class are the same as in years past. You will assigned a specific seat and computer. When entering the classroom you will: 1. Enter quitely and sit in your assigned seat. 2. Fold your hands and wait for instructions. NOTE, you are not to touch the computer, mouse or keyboard until told to do so. 3. You will complete the assignment quitely so as not to disturb the library students. 4. You will follow instructions as to how the computer should be left. 5. You shall exit in two straight and quite lines.
